At the Table

August 22 @ 2:00 pm - August 24 @ 12:00 pm

At The Table … created space for you to nourish yourself with intentional movement, expression, and food. Ashley, Kaley and Sam are offering a late summer retreat for you to gather and build purposeful community. Meeting in the mountains at Free Bird Valley, this retreat includes accessible yoga practices, somatic writing and intentional meals prepared by Sam, a holistic cook.

Kaley will guide daily gentle movement, breathing practices, meditations and mudras for healing. Ashley will lead somatic writing sessions that allow practitioners to express themselves in a mindfully held space. Sam will cook nourishing meals made with accessibility in mind.

Meet your Hosts

Kaley Ramirez:

Kaley, a trauma-informed certified yoga therapist, brings her compassionate approach to this practice. She guides participants through gentle movement and mindfulness to reconnect with their bodies and find greater ease. Utilizing the principles and practices of yoga, and with a focus on restoring balance and regulating the nervous system, her approach calls you back to self, offering tools to navigate pain, trauma, and overwhelm with more grace and resilience.

Ashley Howell:
Ashley, a seasoned yoga teacher and somatics practitioner, enriches the experience by blending physical practices with emotional and mental healing. A published poet and certified practitioner of somatics, Ashley creates a nurturing space where participants can use writing as a form of self-discovery and healing. Her deep understanding of movement, recovery, and creativity ensures a holistic and empowering journey.
Sam Hanes (holistic cook):
Sam is a supply chain program manager with experience in the food industry and a certified yoga instructor driven by one big question, “What does health really mean?” From gut inflammation to migraines, she has had to learn over the years what the right diet can do for the right gut. Studying systems relationships by day and testing different health recipes by night, she focuses on the connection of fuel for your body. Diving into the ecosystem of nutrition from seed to compost and dish to gut, she can help others develop empowering cooking methods they’d be proud of, even to share at a community table.
