DESCRIPTION:A weekend of Yoga\, Nature and Connection\, both on and off the mat. \nFreebird Valley Collective is planning an ongoing series of Yoga Weekends. As intentionally accessible experiences\, hosted by Jeremiah Davidson and different guest co-teachers each time\, this is your weekend yoga pass. \nThis is a spacious weekend to get out of town\, drop into nature\, settle onto your practice and reconnect – to yourself\, to the land and to other like minded friends. With multiple classes per weekend\, this is a mindful\, intentional practice rooted in anatomy and movement\, designed for self\, society\, and source. \nMeet your September teachers:  \nJeremiah Davidson: Jeremiah is a Colorado State Licensed Social Worker\, yoga guide\, and certified Breath & Cold Master Instructor.  He has practiced yoga since 2001 and is trained in vinyasa\, Bikram\, and yin.  Jeremiah’s background in clinical psychotherapy\, research analysis\, and concentrations on nervous system down regulation informs his honed approach to breathing techniques on the yoga mat and in his uniquely designed cold exposure method.  Jeremiah is a published author\, exploring purposeful humanity through decades of attending the Burning Man event.  He currently resides in the high valley of Colorado\, a short drive from Freebird Valley\, and enjoys re-wilding and fundamental relationships with natural elements. \nMichele Theoharris: Michelle\, founder of Sacred Soul Healing Arts\, is a devoted professional with a strong interest in holistic well-being. With more than 20 years of experience\, she combines her skills as a licensed massage therapist\, yoga instructor\, and sound healer to provide a transformative journey. Driven by her passion for movement and mindfulness\, Michele became a certified yoga instructor in 2013. She believes in yoga’s capacity to unify the mind\, body\, and spirit\, fostering inner peace and equilibrium. Michele offers classes suitable for all levels\, encouraging students to approach their practice with curiosity and compassion. Beyond her hands-on healing practices\, Michele serves as a sacred space facilitator\, cultivating environments that support spiritual growth and personal development. She leads workshops and retreats that offer a safe and encouraging space for individuals to delve into their inner selves and connect with their true essence. \nMandy Lauer (E-RYT 500): Mandy has studied and practiced yoga for nearly 30 years now. When Mandy teaches\, her intention is to awaken an inner awareness that expands consciousness in the body\, mind\, and spirit. She is very descriptive in her cueing\, often using anatomical terms and metaphors to guide students to feel the subtleties of the practice. Mandy’s classes are slowly paced\, strong in nature\, and very grounding. She is diligent in helping her students understand why their body functions the way it does\, and how to optimize its abilities. Mandy always makes room to take people inward to discover other limbs of yoga\, beyond asana and pranayama. When appropriate\, she weaves in philosophy from the 8-limbs and from the cycles of nature.
